History
The American Federation of Musicians(AFM) is the largest union in the world representing the interests of musicians.
Local 301 represents a wide variety of musicians including the Illinois Symphony Orchestra, the Peoria Symphony Orchestra, the Pekin Park Concert Band, the Peoria Municipal Band and more. Some of our members also perform as studio musicians, recording musicians and traveling musicians.
Local 301 is proud to represent the many talented musicians who perform at corporate and private events, as well. Our collective knowledge and experience is invaluable in making your event successful. The members of the American Federation of Musicians, Local 301 perform many different styles of music including Jazz, Classical, Contemporary and Classic Rock, and more. You will find soloists, ensembles and bands for many of the events you are planning. If you need music arrangers or copyists, we can also help you with those!
